Roanoke Voters Know that Bob Goodlatte Doesn’t Really Need “2 more years”

Here’s a wonderful letter published a few days ago in the Roanoke Times. Bob mentioned a few weeks ago to a group of folks in Harrisonburg that he “only needs two more years” to fix up the government. Who knew our 10-term incumbent was also a stand-up comic!

Kwiatkowski is a true conservative

Only two more years.

Bob Goodlatte recently made the comment at a luncheon in Harrisonburg that he wanted two more years “to try to fix some of the nation’s most stubborn problems.” That comment begs the question: What has he done for the past 20 years?

The answer to that is virtually nothing that has been good for our country, Virginia or the 6th District. The misnamed Patriot Act is a perfect example of his disregard of our Constitution, and he continues to defend that unlawful atrocity. He co-sponsored the Stop Online Piracy Act. The list goes on and on.

Goodlatte is a proponent of a bigger, more intrusive federal government and epitomizes the entrenched career politician that most despise. His record is indefensible, and to call him a conservative is a joke.

Fortunately, we do have a true conservative running against him with Karen Kwiatkowski. Kwiatkowski is a retired Air Force lieutenant colonel, a Shenandoah farmer who knows the issues and the Constitution. At this point in our history, we need Kwiatkowski, and we deserve what she has to offer. Vote for her in June.
